We offer a free time and the group that matches your child's age.

3

Come to the trial lesson

Decide without rushing

If it clicked, we pick a subscription. If not, no hard feelings.

No prepayment and no commitment at the first step.

simple, calm, in person

How does a lesson work?

The teacher sees every child and helps throughout the whole lesson.

…and every child leaves with a finished artwork to show off at home!

We meet today's topic

A new theme every week — the teacher shows what we'll draw and how.

01

We draw step by step

Children follow simple, clear steps — with individual help whenever it's needed.

02

We share and talk about the work

Everyone shows their finished piece and gets warm, encouraging feedback.

03
pick an age

We'll show you the group your child will join

Groups are built by age: it is easier for a child when their peers are next to them and the teacher speaks their language.

where this path leads

190 of our students built a life around art

In eight years we've taught more than 6000 children to draw. More than 190 of them went further: into Jaņa Rozentāla Art School, art colleges and design programmes — and some already work in illustration, animation and design.

Teenagers from 12 have a separate track: drawing, sketching, painting and composition in exactly the form the entrance exams ask for. The portfolio is put together with the teacher.

No child arrives here thinking "I want to get into art school". That thought shows up on its own — somewhere in the second year.

everyone has their own reason

Parents bring their children for different things

And that's fine — the studio works for all four.

Away from the screen

An hour a week with a brush in hand instead of a phone. For many parents that alone is the reason.

Something of their own

A place where a child makes something of their own and sees the result straight away, not a year later.

Their people

The same small group all year. Children get used to each other and start treating the lesson as a meeting.

Visible progress

The work piles up, and after six months the difference needs no explaining — just compare the folder.

What parents say about us

Real reviews from our lessons — parents photographed their young artists and sent us these words.

"My daughter Michelle (12) is in her third year with NP Drawing. The teachers are skilled, kind and love what they do — she flies to every lesson and comes home delighted. We already have a whole gallery of drawings at home. Special thanks to Nikita for his patience and the warm atmosphere."

Michelle's mumwith the studio for 3 years

"Our daughters love drawing here — they've been learning for over a year. Lessons are easy to follow, clear and interesting. An unexpected bonus: their handwriting became neater, because these techniques really train the hand!"

Mum of two sisterswith the studio over a year

"We've been coming to Nikita for almost a year. Every week our son counts the days to his lesson — for him it's a holiday: 'Hooray, drawing day!' Each class is a little adventure. Huge thanks."

A student's mumalmost a year with us

"NP Drawing means professionalism, positivity and creativity. We are so grateful to the studio for growing a real love of drawing in children — along with skill, craft and confidence in their own abilities. Thank you, team!"

Parents of a studentdrawing classes

"I love the studio, because after every single lesson I go home with a finished picture — one I would never have drawn on my own! Nikita shows and explains everything really clearly. I recommend it to everyone! 🔥💪"

Why should every child learn to draw?

DRAWING DEVELOPS:
[01]

Fine motor skills

Every line is a tiny workout for fingers, hand and eye working together — the same precision children need for neat handwriting.

[02]

A sense of taste and style

Children learn to see how colours and compositions work — a trained eye that stays with them for life.

[03]

Creative thinking

Imagining something first, then making it real — a habit every drawing builds, and a skill the future rewards.

Questions parents ask

Can't find your answer? Write to us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp — we're happy to help.

What age is this for? +

Ages 6 to 17. Groups follow three steps: 6–8, 9–12 and 13+, so every child is with peers.

What language are the lessons in? +

There are both Latvian and Russian groups. You choose the language in the form and we suggest a group where your child will be comfortable.

What happens during the trial lesson? +

In 60 minutes your child paints their first picture and takes it home. The teacher shows the tricks that make a drawing look "real" straight away, introduces them to the other children in the group — and your child gets to feel what our lessons are like from the inside.

Is the first lesson really free? +

Yes — free, with no prepayment. And during the trial the teacher assesses your child's level, so we can suggest a group where they'll be engaged: not too easy, not too hard.

What materials should we bring? +

Nothing at all. Paper, pencils, pastels, paint and brushes are included in the price and waiting in the studio.

How many children are in a group? +

No more than 12. It's the most important number here: the teacher gets to each child several times in one lesson.

My child says they can't draw. Is this for them? +

They're exactly who this is for. Almost every child says it in the first lesson. We teach drawing as a skill — step by step, with no requirement to "be talented".

What if we miss a lesson? +

A missed lesson can be made up in another group the same week — just let us know in advance.

Do you prepare children for art school entrance exams? +

Yes. From age 12 there's a separate track for Jaņa Rozentāla Art School and other art institutions: drawing, sketching, painting, composition and the portfolio.
