Children's Privacy Notice
NP Drawing — operated by SIA "ABNP GROUP" Last updated: 01.07.2026Our art classes are designed for children aged 6 to 16. Because our young artists are at the heart of what we do, this notice explains — in plain language — exactly what information about children we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.
This notice supplements our main [Privacy Policy] and follows the UK Information Commissioner's
Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code).
The short version
- We collect the bare minimum about your child: first name, age, and art experience.
- You, the parent, provide it. Children never give us data themselves.
- Lessons are live on Zoom and are not recorded by us.
- We never advertise to children or use their data for marketing.
- We show a child's artwork publicly only if you say yes — and you can change your mind at any time.
1. What information about children we hold
Provided by you when booking:- Child's first name
- Child's age
- Prior art experience (e.g. "beginner")
Created during lessons:- The child's live video and audio while the Zoom class is taking place. This is transmitted through Zoom so the teacher and classmates can see and hear each other — that is what makes it a live class. We do not record lessons, take screenshots of children, or store the video afterwards.
- The child's artwork shown to the teacher during class.
Only with your separate written consent:- Photographs of the child's finished artwork, accompanied at most by first name and age, for our website or social media. See the [Artwork & Testimonials Consent Notice].
2. What we deliberately do NOT do
- We do not collect a child's surname, date of birth, address, school name, email, phone number, or social media handles.
- We do not create logins or accounts for children.
- We do not send children emails or messages of any kind — all communication goes to the parent.
- We do not use children's data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or tracking. Our advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel) operate on our website for adult visitors who consent to cookies — never inside lessons and never on children's data.
- We do not sell children's data. Ever.
- We do not allow children to make bookings or payments.
3. Why we use children's information
We use a child's first name, age, and experience level:
- to place the child in a group appropriate to their age and level;
- so the teacher can greet the child by name and adapt tasks to them;
- to keep classes safe and well-run.
Our legal basis is the performance of our contract with
you, the parent, and our legitimate interest in running safe, age-appropriate classes. Where we publish artwork, our legal basis is your explicit consent.
4. Who can see children's information
- The teacher of the child's group — first name, age, and experience only.
- Zoom — processes the live audio/video stream to deliver the class (see Zoom's own privacy notice).
- Nobody else, unless the law requires it or it is necessary to protect a child's safety (see our [Online Safeguarding Statement]).
5. How long we keep it
A child's details are kept only while the parent remains our customer, and are deleted or anonymised within 24 months of the last lesson — or earlier if you ask. Published artwork is removed promptly when you withdraw consent.
6. Parents are in control
As a parent or legal guardian, you can at any time:
- ask what information we hold about your child;
- correct it;
- ask us to delete it;
- withdraw any consent you have given (for example, for artwork publication).
Just email
info@npdrawing.com. We will respond within one month and will verify that you are the child's parent or guardian before acting — this protects your child.
7. A note for young artists
If you are one of our students reading this: we only know your first name, your age, and that you love drawing. We never share your pictures unless your parent says it's okay. If anything in class ever makes you feel uncomfortable, tell your parent or your teacher.
