Online Safeguarding Statement
NP Drawing — operated by SIA "ABNP GROUP" Last updated: 01.07.2026Every child in our classes has the right to feel safe. This statement explains the practical steps we take to keep our live online lessons a secure, positive space, and what parents can expect from us.
1. Our teachers
- All teachers are vetted before they teach: identity verification, reference checks, and a criminal-record check appropriate to their country of residence.
- Teachers receive guidance on online safety and appropriate conduct with children before their first class.
- Teachers never contact children directly. All communication — scheduling, feedback, questions — goes through the parent via our official channels (info@npdrawing.com and our booking system).
2. How lessons are kept safe
- Closed classes: each Zoom lesson is accessible only via the private link sent to booked parents. We use waiting rooms, and the teacher admits only expected participants.
- Small groups: a maximum of 8 children, so the teacher sees and hears everyone.
- No recordings: we do not record lessons, and participants are not permitted to record or photograph them, as this would capture other people's children.
- No private channels: Zoom private chat between participants is disabled where possible; the teacher uses group communication only.
- Names: children join with first name only. If a display name shows more, the teacher will rename the participant in Zoom.
3. What we expect from parents
- Please help younger children set up, and remain within earshot during lessons — your child stays in your care at home.
- Ensure your child joins from an appropriate space (not a bathroom or bedroom where privacy could be compromised, where practical).
- Do not share the Zoom link outside your family.
- Tell us about anything that concerned you or your child — we treat every report seriously.
4. Behaviour in class
Teachers maintain a kind, encouraging atmosphere. Bullying, mockery of other children's work, or inappropriate language are addressed immediately; a child may be muted or removed from a session in serious cases, and we will always discuss the situation with the parent afterwards (see our [Terms of Service], section 11).
5. Raising a concern
If you or your child are ever uncomfortable about anything that happened in a class — the teacher's conduct, another participant, anything at all:
- Email info@npdrawing.com with "SAFEGUARDING" in the subject line, or call +44 7861 929523.
- Concerns are reviewed by school management within 1 working day.
- We will tell you what we found and what we are doing about it.
- Where a child may be at risk, we will cooperate fully with relevant authorities.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (999 in the UK) first.
6. Data and privacy
Keeping children safe includes their data. We collect only a child's first name, age, and experience level, never communicate with children directly, and never publish their work without parental consent. Full details: [Children's Privacy Notice].
